Oral Surgery

Though oral surgery is a last resort, it is sometimes necessary. Meet with our dentist, Vaishali Patel, D.D.S., to discuss procedures and we will review all available options. If necessary, oral surgery will be performed. However, we use anesthetics of varying levels to ensure patients are completely comfortable during oral surgeries. In some cases, oral surgery is necessary for wisdom teeth. If your wisdom teeth are impacted, we will remove them from between the jawbone and gums. Oral surgery is also necessary to place the titanium screws used for dental implants.

Additional oral surgeries include reconstructive surgery, surgery for sleep apnea that reduces tissue from the throat, bone grafting for dental implants, dental implants, jaw surgery and biopsies to check for oral cancer. You will be provided with a treatment plan prior to your oral surgery. Furthermore, our team is also here to provide you with guidance post-procedure, ensuring you experience as little discomfort as possible and recover quickly.
